The Global Fund Board has adopted in principle a new funding model. Here we assess the model against our own ‘key principles’ and outline how civil society is involved in refining the process of how money will be allocated.

The Alliance will be participating in the European Commission’s European Development Days from 16-17 October 2012.

Kuala Lumpur, 17 September 2012 - Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC) expresses its disheartenment over the introduction of guidelines to help parents and teachers identify gay and lesbian ‘symptoms’ in schoolchildren, published recently by Yayasan Guru Malaysia Bhd and the Putrajaya Consultative Council of Parents and Teachers Association.
Over the past three years, the Alliance’s regional Technical Support Hubs have provided over 12,000 days of support to Alliance Linking Organisations and other civil society organisations. Twenty-five percent of this has been for Global Fund grant support.
