The Sapura & Kencana Petroleum Red Ribbon GP Ball 2012 will bring together F1 teams and drivers and international celebrities for an evening of top class hospitality and entertainment to kick off the Formula 1 PETRONAS Malaysia Grand Prix 2012. The ball will take place on 22 March 2012.
Approximately 600 guests are expected to attend under the patronage of YABhg Datin Paduka Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of the Malaysian Prime Minister who is also the patron of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation. Other VIPs will include YAB Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, cabinet ministers, captains of industry, F1 team principals and drivers as well as local and international stars of the film, fashion and music industry.
The Malaysian AIDS Foundation (MAF) is the fundraising arm of Alliance Linking Organisation the Malaysian AIDS Council (MAC).
MAF will benefit from ticket sales to the event and from the sale of items donated by the celebrities, which will be auctioned by representatives from Christies during the evening.
Tables of 10 are priced at RM35,000 (USD $11,500), RM50,000 (USD $16,100), RM100,000 (USD $32,800) and RM200,000 (USD $65,700). One of six Hollywood A-list stars and their partners will be seated at the RM 200,000 tables during the evening. Purchasers of the RM 100,000 and RM 200,000 tables will also be invited to a private meet and greet session with the stars.
