Global Health Council to close

Aids Alliance

The Alliance expresses sadness at the news that the Global Health Council will close operations within the coming months.

The Global Health Council (GHC), a U.S.-based, non-profit membership alliance dedicated to improving health throughout the world, worked to ensure that all who strive for improvement and equity in global health had the information and resources they needed to do their work.

Alvaro Bermejo, Executive Director of the Alliance and board member of the GHC said: 'At the Alliance, we have always recognised that the effectiveness of the HIV response is inextricably linked to progress on other health priorities. That is why we have been pleased to support and contribute to the work of the GHC which has played a significant role in bringing global health practitioners together to address the challenges that affect us all.'
