Lynette Lowndes, the Alliance’s Deputy Executive Director and Director of Field Programmes, is speaking at 'Doing global health - in the context of crisis, conflict and disaster', a conference organised by the Centre for Global Health Policy at the University of Sussex on Tuesday 17 July.

The one-day conference will explore the multifaceted connections between global health and crises, conflicts and disasters.

Bringing together experts on water and sanitation, neglected tropical diseases, food security, sexual violence, climate change and the international politics of health, the conference will share new insights from ongoing projects, will facilitate in-depth discussion through expert-led break-out sessions, and will provide a networking opportunity for those working in the field of global health.

Date: Tuesday 17 July 2012, 9:30 until 17:30

Venue: University of Sussex Conference Centre
