Alliance launches new good practice guides

Aids Alliance

The Alliance launched a new series of Good Practice Guides to coincide with the International AIDS Conference in Vienna last week.

These new Guides bring together expertise from the Alliance global community in order to help define and guide good practice in a range of technical areas related to HIV programming.

Each guide is the Alliance good practice series is accompanied by a set of programming standards.  The new guides contain information, strategies and resources to help programme officers meet the good practice standards of our HIV programmes.  

Christine Stegling, Alliance Associate Director of the HIV Best Practice Unit said: ‘Implementing these guides and standards is one of the ways that the Alliance, our partners and other organisations can define and promote a unified and quality-driven approach to HIV programming.’

‘We are currently finalising good practice guides for TB and Sexual and Reproductive Health.  Future titles in the series will include HIV prevention, Family Centred Approaches and Human Rights.’
