The Hub is hosted in Cambodia by Alliance linking organisation KHANA (Khmer HIV/AIDS NGO Alliance). Under the new agreement, MSI Cambodia will work with the KHANA team to develop a roadmap for the practical and effective integration of SRH into their HIV programming, technical support and monitoring and evaluation.
This roadmap will make short and long term recommendations on the next steps for progressing linkages on behavioural change, communications, advocacy, community programming and service referrals. This work will be used as an entry point for a future strategic partnership agreement between KHANA and MSI Cambodia, where the organisations will work together to meet the technical support needs of community support organisations in Cambodia.
Choub Sok Chamreun, Director of the Technical Support and Best Practice Department at KHANA said that: ‘This agreement reflects the growing trend in HIV integration work and the needs of beneficiaries in Cambodia.
‘It is an exciting opportunity for both KHANA and MSI and it has the potential to allow us to develop a long term strategic relationship which will increase health services availability, access and use by strengthening linkages with sexual reproductive health, TB and other health services.’
