Aids Alliance

World Aids Day 2010 sees the launch of HIV Southern Africa, a brand new virtual community of health workers, development programmers, activists and advocates focused on accelerating HIV prevention in southern Africa.

The site is not owned by any one organisation, but is a collaborative effort of numerous stakeholders including; The Southern African HIV & AIDS Information Dissemination Service (SAfAIDS), UNAIDS, Population Service International (PSI), Soul City, AIDSPortal, International HIV/AIDS Alliance and Knowledge 4 Health.

HIV Southern Africa is a platform for sharing ideas, best practices, knowledge and experience on HIV prevention in the southern African region. Its focus is on capturing and sharing local knowledge and experiences to promote the use of home grown solutions in the fight against the pandemic.

Membership is free and allows you to contribute directly to the site.  Click here to join and start sharing your experiences
