Please vote for Alliance Ukraine in the ‘Best of Kyiv 2010’ awards, which are awarded by the Kyiv Post.

Alliance Ukraine is the only NGO tackling HIV to be nominated in the ‘Best Impact’ category.

Alliance Ukraine led the expansion of access to antiretroviral treatment (ART) across the country. When its programme began in 2004 only 137 people were receiving government-supported ART, by the end of 2008 almost 10,000 people were receiving this life-saving treatment. You can find out more about Alliance Ukraine’s work here.

To receive the award would mean great exposure for Alliance Ukraine in the Kyiv Post, an English-language newspaper, whose audience includes diplomats and policy makers.

Voting closes on 9 Jan 2010 so please vote now. Votes can only be cast by people outside of the UK as the site is restricted from the UK.

Visit the Kyiv Post website here.
