Cover of new Good Practice Guide

The latest Alliance Good Practice Guide - on HIV and Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights (SRHR) – has just been launched.

The guide brings together expertise from the Alliance global community and other key external resources in order to help define and guide Alliance good practice in technical areas of SRHR that relate to HIV programming.

The guide is accompanied by a set of programming standards and contains information, strategies and resources to help programme officers meet the good practice standards of integrated HIV/SRHR programmes.

The French and Spanish translations of this guide will be available from March 2011.

This new guide is one of a series. Other Alliance Good Practice guides include HIV and drug use: community responses to injecting drug use and the Greater involvement of people living with HIV (GIPA).

The launch coincides with the new Community of Practice on SRHR/HIV integration, which launches on 1 February 2011. The Community of Practice is an email-based group which enables Alliance staff around the world to discuss and share technical expertise around the same area of work.

For information, contact Divya Bajpai , Senior Advisor, HIV and SRH.
