We are pleased to announce that Alliance trustee, Carole Presern, has joined the Partnership for Maternal, Newborn and Child Health (PMNCH).

Carole is Chair of the Alliance secretariat’s Policy and Advocacy Committee, and brings over 25 years experience in governance, management, international health policy and health in developing countries.

The Lancet interviewed Carole on her experiences, starting from a gap year job in 1981 in charge of midwifery service for 60,000 people in a Cambodian camp highlighting her “breadth and depth of experience in the field that is rare for policy makers.”

You can read more about Carole’s experiences in The Lancet's full article.
