Technical support for Global Fund proposals

Aids Alliance

As the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria prepares to launch its latest call for proposals on 15 August 2011, the Alliance Regional Technical Support Hubs are gearing up to support Alliance linking organisations and other grant recipients with technical assistance.

Round 11 update

Round 11 will be launched on 15 August 2011, with a submission date of 15 December 2011. To assist applicants in their planning, the Global Fund has made some of the application materials for Round 11 available before the launch.  Read more here.

Technical assistance

Alliance’s Regional Technical Support Hubs are able to provide a range of technical assistance on Global Fund proposal development and grant implementation.  The Hubs have substantial experience of providing technical support to CBOs and of HIV programming at community level.  In 2010, they provided 4091 days of technical support, a 42% increase on 2009 figures.

The Hubs are able to draw upon the Alliance’s experience of implementing Global Fund grants and of community system strengthening, and can source appropriate local consultants with Global Fund experience, or if preferred, can contract and quality assure your own preferred consultants.
