Aids Alliance

The Alliance Regional Technical Support Hub for West, North and Central Africa has been based in IPC in Burkina Faso since 2008.

It is one of seven Hubs established by the Alliance to strengthen the pool of leaders able to champion the HIV response, as well as the skills and resources of civil society organisations, to enable them to take effective action on HIV.  You can read more about the Alliance Hubs here.

Drawing on its many years of experience, the Hub can provide consultancy on numerous areas, including:

  • community AIDS strategy
  • offering prevention services and community-based care for PLWH and OVC
  • strategic and operational planning
  • financial management and M&E
  • developing training modules and methodological tools and guides
  • facilitating capacity-building workshops using a participatory methodology
  • specialist Global Fund proposal development and grant management, especially for Community Systems Strengthening components.
