Sustaining and expanding community action on HIV/AIDS
| Building Partnerships (English) 1.45MbOrder publication | |
| Many of the success stories in the response to the HIV/AIDS pandemic have resulted from NGOs and CBOs working with partners, ranging from traditional healers, factory owners and civil servants to religious leaders, politicians and people living with HIV/AIDS.
This report draws on the experience and knowledge of the Alliance and its partners of working in partnership to share knowledge, expertise and resources. Its recommendations include ensuring closer relationships between NGOs and governments or donors, introducing partnership at the very start of new programmes, and making sure monitoring and evaluation processes assess the effectiveness of partnership working. |
