| Despite the growth of the HIV/AIDS epidemic, drugs and other forms of treatment and care have been unavailable to people in many parts of the world, reducing their choices and those of their families and communities. This report shares the experiences and lessons learned from the Alliance’s work with its partners in many different countries around access to HIV/AIDS-related treatment. It draws on work carried out to develop the publication Mobilising NGOs, CBOs and PLHA Groups for Improving Access to HIV/AIDS-Related Treatement – A handbook of information, tools and other resources. It identifies good practice and explores ways of helping more people access the services they need. Topics include sharing experiences with others: developing a handbook, and advocacy: working towards change. | |
