We are about to launch a new brand in February and are building a brand new fundraising team with masses of ambition and vision.  We are seeking an experienced supporter engagement specialist to ensure quality donor experience by supporting fundraising activities and act as a database specialist. 

It is an exciting time to join the International HIV/AIDS Alliance. In this role you will be providing expertise which will enable the Alliance to fulfill its mission to work with communities through local, national and global action on HIV, health and human rights.

Are you who we’re looking for?

You have worked on innovative fundraising or income generating projects previously and are confident in administration and use of databases.  You are a committed team member with a clear focus on team objectives, as well as your own. You will promote best practice within your field of expertise and will challenge ways of working to ensure the highest quality and levels of efficiency. Your actions will be aligned with the Alliance vision and you will inspire the same behaviour in your peers. You are comfortable working in a matrix management environment.

The role will:

• Act as the first point of contact for fundraising enquiries, ensuring a highly professional customer service to donors and prospects.

• Process donations in a timely manner and provide fundraising materials when requested.

• Analyse data from the database to contribute to testing of acquisition, channels, suppliers, messages in line with the fundraising plan.

• Contribute to team and cross team efforts, as applicable, in order to develop and deliver income generating initiatives as required.
