Ukraine: Services continue despite crisis
03 March 2014
As the political crisis in Ukraine unfolds, Alliance Ukraine services continue uninterrupted.
According to Karen Madoian, Senior Communications Manager at Alliance Ukraine, the largest NGO provider of HIV services to people who use drugs, sex workers and men who have sex with men in the country:
“Events on the ground are unfolding very fast. However, at this moment I can confirm that Alliance Ukraine is working in a normal regime. There is no interruption with our service delivery in all regions of Ukraine, including the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.
“We are regularly contacting our partner-organisations in Crimea. They’ve confirmed there are no restrictions to their activities at the moment.”
