Tuberculosis (TB) accounts for a quarter of all AIDS-related deaths. It is the most common cause of death for people living with HIV.
The briefing is targeted at the UK Department for International Development (DFID) country programme managers and policy officials. It seeks to highlight the rationale for integration, and also explore the opportunities and challenges to promoting greater integration.

The policy briefing is a collaborative effort of the Alliance, RESULTS UK and Target TB, members of the TB-HIV working group of the AIDS Consortium, with input from DFID in-country staff from South Africa and Zambia.
