Growing up together: experiences of care and support for children
| Growing up together: experiences of care and support for children (English) 458.2Kb | |
| This report draws on the learning of over 90 participants from across India and South-east Asia, who attended a meeting in December 2002 entitled ‘Working with Children Affected by HIV/AIDS’, hosted by Alliance India.
'Growing up together’ aims to strengthen understanding of the needs of children affected by HIV/AIDS as well as to introduce the principles of a child-centred approach when working with children affected by HIV/AIDS. The report is for policymakers and NGO support programmes interested in learning more about multi-sectoral responses at both community and government levels and how collaboration and partnerships are needed to provide choices and comprehensive services for children affected by HIV/AIDS. |
