A national civil society consultation on the Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, organised by the Alliance in India, has set out a series of recommendations to improve the engagement of civil society in Global Fund processes.

'Extreme concern' voiced at the Millennium Development Goals package Stop AIDS Alliance expresses concern about the failure of the European Commission to include plans on how to confront HIV/AIDS in its Millennium Development Goals package, and calls for the EU to formally regard HIV/AIDS as a cross-cutting issue.
The Stop AIDS Alliance meeting updated NGOs and other civil society actors on the European Union’s HIV/AIDS policy, with a special focus on the role played by the UK’s forthcoming presidency of the EU.
