Alliance improves access to web resources for non-English speakers

Summary information pages about the publications available on the Alliance website have been translated, to help non-English speakers visiting the site to make the most of the resources available. Each summary page provides a link to the publication as a PDF, and includes an overview of the content, the intended audience, number of pages and file size.
The pages have been translated into French, Spanish or Portuguese as appropriate.
The translation of summary pages is part of an ongoing project to adapt the whole publications area of the website for non-English speaking users. The Alliance will also be using the results from the recent website evaluation survey to feed into this process.
Some examples of pages already translated:
- Collecte de fonds et mobilisation de ressources pour les programmes de lutte contre le VIH/SIDA – Un module de formation pour le renforcement des capacités des ONG/OBC (French Raising funds and mobilising resources for HIV/AIDS work – A toolkit to support NGOs/CBOs)
