Alliance awarded significant funding to expand the role of networks of people living with HIV in Uganda

USAID PEPFAR has awarded the Alliance $2.9 million over three years to increase the access of people living with HIV to services, to build the organisational capacity of networks, and to support innovative approaches by groups of people living with HIV through a small grants programme.

According to a new study from the World Bank and the International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Ukraine, if Ukraine’s AIDS epidemic is not curtailed quickly, the country’s economic growth could be affected.

The International HIV/AIDS Alliance in Madagascar has signed contracts with 44 local associations and NGOs, who aim to reach approximately 25,000 young people in six months.
