Global Fund: Current Developments and Resource Mobilization for Round 6
Wednesday 16 August. Time: 16:15-17:45. Location: Global Village Session Hall 2, Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
An interactive session to review the outcomes of the Partnership Forum and Replenishment meeting in Durban (July) and to discuss advocacy activities required to ensure that Round 6 Proposals are approved for funding in November 2006 at the Global Fund (GF) Board meeting.
The panelists will present evidence of success of the GF programs to date and the risks of Round 6 not being fully funded. They will also give the latest figures on the gap between what is available and what is needed. The session will involve representatives from the GF Secretariat and civil society.
