Sexual and reproductive health & HIV and AIDS – A flip book

This flip book was produced to help outreach workers and other health educators within Alliance programmes in the states of Manipur, Punjab, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Orissa, India to enable discussion about reproductive and sexual health and HIV with women’s groups, support groups and self-help groups. It will also be useful for other civil society organisations undertaking similar work.

Access to correct information, health education, knowledge and skills are essential for behaviour change to prevent HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, and to improve the sexual and reproductive health of women. 

The book covers: 

• menstruation and reproductive maturity
• pregnancy and safe motherhood
• family planning and birth spacing
• reproductive tract and sexually transmitted infections HIV and AIDS

Pictures within the book are designed to be shared with the group and are accompanied by key messages and points for discussion.
