Multi-country project strengthens women's rights

An Alliance initiative in Bolivia, Peru and Ecuador has started targeting human rights infringements experienced by women living with HIV in the region, and strengthening their influence over decision-making about services.

New testing centre in Senegal offers an entry point to better treatment
The opening of a new voluntary and anonymous testing centre by the Alliance Nationale Contre le SIDA in Senegal will bring people improved opportunities for HIV testing, which is also the entry point to better treatment.

Prevention messages get an airing on community radio

A community radio station has put in place an HIV prevention action plan with the help of Alliance Nationale Contre le SIDA in Senegal. GEO FM is now broadcasting in Senegal on HIV issues following training for presenters and staff.
