Publications in development

The following three titles are being developed for publication later in 2008:
Sex work and violence This guide discusses the challenges involved in ensuring that violence is addressed in HIV programmes, gives a detailed understanding of violence in relation to sex work and challenges some common assumptions. The guide also provides examples of ways in which HIV and AIDS projects can help reduce the incidence of violence against sex workers and provide support to those who experience violence.
Mainstreaming towards universal access
The Alliance has carried out research into the policy and financial barriers to AIDS mainstreaming in four countries (Burkina Faso, Cambodia, India and Zambia). The report will summarise the cross-country findings and promote recommendations for action by international policy-makers. Increasing access for key populations in Mongolia through linkages between sexual reproductive health and HIV This policy briefing includes a case study about the Alliance’s partner in Mongolia (National AIDS Foundation) that identifies key challenges, successes and lessons learnt within the technical and political processes that contributed to a successful Global Fund proposal integrating sexual reproductive health and HIV. |
