EngenderHealth works to improve reproductive health in developing countries. Their website offers a wide range of information and resources on family planning, maternal/child health, men’s health, HIV and other sexually transmitted infections, and sexuality and gender. Special "in-action" sections discuss topics such as "ensuring women’s health" and "working with men." EngenderHealth also provides web-based and CD-ROM self-instructional courses for health care providers, supervisors, students, and trainers all over the world. The courses are designed particularly for those in low-resource settings, and cover topics such as sexuality and sexual health, sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, and infection prevention. Also available are a number of professional materials, including a training package on men’s reproductive health.

Family Health International (FHI) FHI works to improve reproductive health around the world, with an emphasis on developing countries. Its website supplies information on many of the organisation’s programmes, as well as providing access to over 3,000 online documents on HIV/AIDS prevention. FHI's IMPACT (Implementing AIDS Prevention and Care) Project is designed to help increase the capacity of local organisations (both public and private) in 30 countries to implement effective HIV/AIDS strategies. The website and its contents are available in English, Arabic, French, Russian, and Spanish.

Global AIDS Program - Global Health Council educates and advocates on issues concerning those most affected by the HIV/AIDS pandemic. The programme's mission is to facilitate communication and collaboration between AIDS service organisations working in the field of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.

Global Campaign for Microbicides is a broad-based, international effort to build support among policy makers, opinion leaders, and the general public for increased investment into microbicides and other user-controlled prevention methods. The Campaign works via its secretariat (PATH) and member groups to cultivate awareness and demand for microbicides and to turn that demand into political action. Through advocacy, policy analysis, and social science research, the Campaign works to accelerate product development, facilitate widespread access and use, and protect the needs and interests of users, especially women.

Healthlink Worldwide works to improve the health of poor and vulnerable communities by strengthening the provision, use and impact of information. Links to AIDS Action CD-ROM and website, a collection of resources for health workers, educators and community workers, which provide practical information on a wide range of care, support and prevention issues concerning HIV, AIDS and STIs.

Horizons is a ten-year (1997-2007) operations research programme designed to identify components of effective HIV/AIDS programmes and policies; test potential solutions to problems in prevention, care, support, and service delivery; and disseminate and utilise findings with a view to replicating and scaling-up successful interventions.

Population Services International (PSI) borrows strategies from the charity and commercial worlds to improve the health of the poor and vulnerable in a tangible and measurable way. It has turned its tool of social marketing, originally applied only to family planning, to other areas of health where social marketing can make a difference, such as HIV/AIDS, malaria, safe water/oral rehydration and nutrition/micronutrients. It manages AIDSMark, a 10-year global programme that uses social marketing to prevent the spread of HIV/AIDS and other sexually transmitted infections.

Program for Appropriate Technology (Path) works to improves the health of people around the world by advancing technologies, strengthening systems, and encouraging healthy behaviour. It has developed a range of publications and resources including the Reproductive Health Outlook (RHO) website which summarises research findings, programme experience, and clinical guidelines on key topics ranging from family planning and adolescent reproductive health to cervical cancer and AIDS. It is designed to support reproductive health policymakers and programme managers in developing countries.

The International Council of AIDS Service Organisations (ICASO) represents the interests of HIV/AIDS CBOs and NGOs around the world.

The Panos AIDS Programme provides information on global issues from a developing country perspective. The HIV/AIDS page provides analyses of HIV/AIDS issues, including men and HIV, stigma and discrimination, development of regional AIDS activities, access to treatment, and a link to Panos media resources on HIV/AIDS. The site also features AIDS Information Sheets and AIDS Media Briefing Documents on issues such as home-based care, children with HIV, STIs and HIV, and breastfeeding and HIV/AIDS.
