The Alliance works directly with civil society organisations, and develops techniques and advocacy to guide the wider response, globally. These are some examples of the work we do:

  • We are mobilising communities for action with injecting drug users in the Ukraine, and with sexworkers and men who have sex with men in India.
  • We are developing organisations out of small initiatives started by groups of people living with HIV/AIDS in China.
  • We are strengthening capacity with organisations to improve the quality and sustainability of their work in almost all our programmes.
  • We are building systems to scale up the response by reaching more community organisations to reach more people in Uganda.
  • We are helping communities have a voice to express their needs and demand their rights through networks of people living with HIV in Rwanda and the Communities Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund.
