The Alliance's work with civil society

The Alliance works directly with civil society organisations, and develops techniques and advocacy to guide the wider response, globally. These are some examples of the work we do:
- We are mobilising communities for action with injecting drug users in the Ukraine, and with sexworkers and men who have sex with men in India.
- We are developing organisations out of small initiatives started by groups of people living with HIV/AIDS in China.
- We are strengthening capacity with organisations to improve the quality and sustainability of their work in almost all our programmes.
- We are building systems to scale up the response by reaching more community organisations to reach more people in Uganda.
- We are helping communities have a voice to express their needs and demand their rights through networks of people living with HIV in Rwanda and the Communities Delegation to the Board of the Global Fund.
