| Working Positively: A guide for NGOs managing HIV/AIDS in the workplace (English) 276.8Kb | |
| With HIV/AIDS prevalence rates of over 20 per cent in many sub-Saharan countries, organisations are increasingly finding that HIV/AIDS is affecting their operations. As a result, addressing HIV/AIDS in the workplace is becoming a priority for governments, commercial organisations and NGOs.
This document, published by the UK Consortium on AIDS and International Development (of which the Alliance is a member) examines how NGOs are embracing the challenges of addressing HIV/AIDS in the workplace. It addresses themes such as the range of approaches available, the scope for collaborative working between NGOs and the cost of providing anti-retroviral treatment. |
