Alliance News: Access to treatment
| Alliance news: Access to treatment (English) 88.2Kb | |
| This issue of Alliance News focuses on practical and attitudinal barriers that prevent people living with HIV/AIDS from getting medical treatment. The overview introduces the Alliance’s Access to Treatment toolkit. The Alliance’s linking organisation in Cambodia, the Khmer HIV/AIDS NGO Alliance (KHANA), talks about its home care project, which has reduced discrimination in the community as well as providing basic care. The ‘Communities in Action’ page presents key findings from the Alliance’s access to treatment needs assessments in Côte d’Ivoire, India and Zambia, which show that each country presents different challenges. | |
