| As the HIV/AIDS epidemic continues to spread rapidly, one of the biggest questions for NGOs and CBOs today is how to scale up their contribution to HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support.
This report shares highlights and lessons from the third year of the “Community Lessons, Global Learning” collaboration between the Alliance and GlaxoSmithKline’s Positive Action initiative. The project involved running workshops with NGOs/CBOs and people living with HIV/AIDS from 12 countries around the world. This publication focuses on scale-up at a community levels, aiming to identify practical lessons learned. It recommendations include starting scale-up based on existing strengths and strategies, and keeping rooted in the needs of the community. |
