NGO Participation in the Global Fund – A review paper
| NGO participation in the Global Fund: A review paper (English) 46.0Kb | |
| In recent years, there has been an increase in NGO participation in Global Fund processes, but involvement is still weak in a number of areas.
This paper summarises a review by the Alliance of the participation of HIV NGOs in six country-level processes of the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria. These processes include the Country Co-ordinated Mechanism (CCM), the Country Co-ordinated Proposal (CCP) and all other Global-Fund-related activities and consultations. The briefing draws on the experiences of the Alliance and its partner organisations, addressing issues such as access to information, involvement in decision making, weak NGO networks, and effective funding disbursement to civil society. |
