Key documents
Listed belows are some key documents which set out the work and vision of the Alliance.
The Alliance Strategic Framework 2005 – 2007 is based on extensive consultation with partners, donors and staff, and was endorsed by the Board of Trustees in November 2004. It provides an overview of the aims and goals of all the Alliance's organisations. The purpose of the Strategic Framework is to offer direction to those making strategic decisions, guidance to partner organisations and country offices, and to communicate our shared strategy with external partners that support our work. The Framework will also be valuable to other organisations, such as governments, private business and other NGOs who want to achieve the same vision.
The Alliance was established in 1993. Since then it has supported more than 3,000 HIV/AIDS projects in over 40 countries, focusing on integrated responses to HIV/AIDS that combine HIV prevention, AIDS care and treatment, and support to children affected by the epidemic. This annual review highlights its achievements in 2005.
This publication, produced to celebrate the Alliance’s 10th anniversary, shows what the people supported by the Alliance and its partners are doing to help individuals, families and communities deal with HIV/AIDS. It tells the stories of ordinary people in Zambia, India, Ecuador, Ukraine and Burkina Faso carrying out extraordinary work to contain the epidemic, often overcoming stigma and organising themselves to find strength in numbers.
This leaflet offers an overview of the Alliance's work, highlighting its achievements, with key facts and case studies. It provides contact details for its linking organisations, country offices, and the secretariat, and information on making donations and finding further information.
The trustees' report and audited financial statements for the year ended 31 December 2005.
