  • 7,782 people trained to build the organisational and programmatic capacity of non-governmental and community-based organisations
  • 824 grants provided to non-governmental and community-based organisations to work on HIV at community level, many for the first time
  • 54% of people reached through Alliance-supported programmes and projects were women and girls
  • 31 organisations made up the Alliance at the end of 2007 (30 linking organisations and the UK-based secretariat).
